INTERVIEW WITH THE TOP ELEVEN 2023 PLAYER AND APPLEBY INC MANAGER

Hello, I am Tommy Wilson the owner of Appleby Incorporated.

Why are you playing Top Eleven?

I am playing top eleven because I like the ability to create your own club and compete with other real managers to become the best club in your server.

What does Top Eleven mean to you?

To me top eleven allows me to show my passion for football by managing my club to the best of my ability and allows you to have a competitive rivalry with other real world managers.

What is the team name you use in the game? Why did you choose this team name?

So my team names usually have Appleby inc it and that’s because the road my nan lives on is called Appleby Street and so I thought what if Appleby was a town or a city and how would the teams be? That’s why I chose that name.

Are you a member of a particular community? Can you introduce your community for us?

I am a member if the Top Eleven Twitter/global Community who focus on bringing managers together to compete to become the best manager in the top eleven community as well as part of the England Top Eleven FA who focus on bringing people together through the FA system in game.

Can you give information about your team’s tactics?

As a manager in top eleven I like to control the ball as well as be very attacking minding so often I will play a 4-4-2 formation and set the passing to short and mentality to very attacking.

Do you have any criticism and solution suggestions that you would like to convey to Top Eleven managers?

My suggestions to other managers is take it one game at a time. Take the time to asses your opponent and find ways to get around their defence while stopping their attackers. Controlling the ball means more damage can be done.
